1. Overview

PrintWithMagic ("we", "us", "our") creates personalized, made-to-order products from photos and details You provide, including AI-generated personalized comic books (digital and printed) and personalized cartoon-designed ornaments ( collectively, "Products"). Because every Product is custom and unique to You, our return policy is more limited than for non-personalized retail goods. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

2. Pre-Production Approval

For most personalized Products (including printed comic books), we provide an opportunity to review the Product before it goes to production. You will receive a preview and an approval window (for example, 72 hours). Once You approve the Product — or once the approval window expires without action — we will produce and ship the Product as last shown to You.

Once approved or sent to production, custom Products generally cannot be cancelled, modified, or returned, except as described in Sections 4 and 5 below.

3. Order Cancellations Before Production

If You contact us promptly after placing an order and before the Product has been sent to production, we will make a reasonable effort to cancel the order and issue a refund to Your original payment method. To request a cancellation, email hey@printwithmagic.com as soon as possible with Your order number.

4. Defective or Damaged Products

If You receive a Product that is defective or damaged in transit, please follow these steps:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving the Product by emailing hey@printwithmagic.com with Your order number and a description of the issue.
  • Provide photos: We may ask for clear photos of the defect or damage (and, where relevant, the packaging) so we can assess the issue.
  • Approval: If the issue is approved, we will provide return instructions where applicable.
  • Refund or Replacement: Once we confirm the issue, we will, at Your preference, either issue a full refund (to Your original payment method) or send a replacement Product at no additional charge.

5. Print Errors

If a printed Product was produced incorrectly compared to the version You approved (for example, missing pages, severe printing artifacts, wrong product), we will reprint and reship the Product at no additional charge. The same notification window and process described in Section 4 applies.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where required by law or as expressly described in Sections 3, 4, and 5:

  • Custom-made comic books (printed) and custom-made ornaments that are not defective or damaged.
  • Digital comic books and other digital deliverables, once delivered or made available for download.
  • Products with issues caused by user-submitted Content (for example, the photo You uploaded was low quality, or the names, descriptions, or prompts You entered led to results You did not prefer). You can request additional regenerations within the limits we publish during the approval flow.
  • Products on which You requested a regeneration and approved the result.
  • Products returned without prior authorization.

7. Issues With AI-Generated Content

Because Products are created with AI, individual results may vary and may not match the people in the uploaded photos exactly or precisely render every requested detail. The approval flow lets You request a limited number of regenerations or fixes per page before You finalize the Product. Once approved (or once the approval window expires), the Product is considered accepted, and we will not issue refunds based solely on aesthetic preference or imperfect likeness.

8. Shipping Costs

Original shipping fees are non-refundable except where the return is due to a defective or damaged Product or a print error attributable to us. For approved returns under Sections 4 and 5, we will provide return shipping instructions and cover reasonable return shipping costs where applicable.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Once the refund is processed on our end, please allow up to 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on Your statement, depending on Your bank or card issuer.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Return Policy limits any non-waivable rights You may have under mandatory consumer protection laws of Your country or state of residence. If such laws give You broader rights than this Policy, those rights will prevail to the extent required by law.
